In order to promote enhanced cooperation between Dongguan and Hong Kong, and to strengthen the foundation of industrial collaboration between the two regions, the 2nd Dongguan-Hong Kong Printing Industry Cooperation and Exchange Conference with the theme “Navigating New Quality, Printing the Future Together” was successfully held in Qiaotou, Dongguan on November 28, 2024. The conference was grand in scale, with over 300 participants from various sectors including government departments, association representatives, and industry experts.

The Dongguan Press and Publication Bureau, the Hong Kong Printers Association, and the Guangdong Printing Association were the organizers of this conference. During the event, the Hong Kong Printers Association and the Advanced Printing Technology Centre (APTEC) actively participated, presenting plaques to companies that had completed the “CTV Pilot Scheme” and “Production of CTV Characterisation Dataset Program.”

Ms. Brenda Pang, Executive Director of APTEC, had the honor of presenting at the event, sharing insights on the application of Hong Kong-led CTV technology and introducing two key programmes under the “Colour ꞏ Method ꞏ Master: GBA ReCreates the World’s Colour” – “CTV Pilot Scheme” and “CTV Dataset Programme”. She discussed the project’s progress, and the industry’s positive feedback on CTV, and anticipated future activities.
